JEEP® was celebrating their 60th anniversary and wanted a new spot.

The idea was to feature the history of JEEP and hint to where the company was going

We flew to Zaca Lake, California, to get new scenes of the new JEEP models, and worked with Director, Dave Darby

We shot 4 new JEEP vehicles driving throughout pre determined routes + areas of the desert including, green forests + splashing through streams (saving that for last)

All of the scenarios were based on my storyboards + photo comps made the week prior.

We mixed the vintage footage supplied by JEEP® + composited it with our new contemporary footage in Flame® at Charlex

The sketches were supplied by JEEP and were to be kept TOP SECRET.  I broke the sketches down and animated the layers in After Effects / bringing it to life for that end page Vista shot.

A final note: That entire Vista Shot is made of photo stills rotoscoped behind the 3 vehicles on that cliff.
