Started this idea in June '17

We've done SnowGlobes + Holiday Windows + mini animated featurettes, But this year - I wanted to place my batch of News talent inside a Magical PopUp Book which comes to life Disney style full of pixie dust deep in the basement of the New York City public library + each scene was to be a New York centric icon such as the Bow Bridge in Central Park / 5th Avenue / A Tribeca NYC Loft / Brooklyn Bridge

It always begins with some type of sketch or doodle / They won't hang in the Louvre but you get the idea

I hired and worked with Patty Wong to bring her wonderful whimsical style to this project

We then tightened up the chosen scenes and drew them in illustrator / The goal was clean layered files + nice vector pieces to animate

We set up and photographed all solo shots of the talent on a lo-fi seamless white Cyc set up and we were off and running!
