#Lonnie Quinn Action Figure

IMG_6145.jpeg

Directed this disruptor spot in the style of a vintage toy commercial from the 70's.

Wanted to make something other than your typical promo for weather talent.

Lonnie Quinn Action Figure needed a killer jingle. Something memorable and easy to hum in the shower!!!

My producer, Jennifer Hancox and myself wrote the lyrics and music and then we passed our idea and rough audio to Stephen Arnold music to produce the finished track.

We hired fine artist Kate Wignall to create the prototype dolls. Two dolls with different outfits. One business attire and one with the blue weather Columbia® jacket.

The doll had "fake" rolling up sleeves and pull string action built into it.

The Umbrella prop was an extra bonus.

I designed the packaging boxes and needed the Mobile Weather lab wrapped. Both boxes and Scale Vehicle were printed and wrapped by Sign-O-Rama in Hartsdale.

We cast the right child actors and found the right house with property to get started on the actual shoot.

Fighting Ghosts + DP Erik Brauer did a great job getting the shots needed / hilighting the doll with the limited September natural daylight

Watch the finished promo here! Enjoy
